Sheera Olitré, 31st Prime Minister of the Republic of Knabia, was appointed by former President Ehnud Olizek and elected by the Korpostash on 16 September 1532. Mrs. Olitré is the first woman to be chosen as Prime Minister and is a member of the Social-Democratic Party of Knabia (SDK). She served as a representative of Drexik in the Korpostash for 12 years and as a member of Drexik's Senate for 6 years.

The powers of the Prime Minister are as follows as laid out by the 4rd Article of the Constitution:

Appointment of the Cabinet: The Prime Minister appoints a cabinet, the members of which become the heads of the 12 highest departments in the executive branch. The Prime Minister also appoints the Attorney General. These appointments are made with approval of the Doruktash.


Promulgation of the law: Once the President has signed a law that has passed through both houses of Parliament, the Prime Minister must then sign it or veto it. Once a bill has been signed into law by the Prime Minister, he or she is obligated to enforce that law through the cabinet members.

Executive Orders: The Prime Minister may make executive orders to help direct the operation of executive officers or departments or to create either of these. Laws passing through Parliament may also give the Prime Minister other executive order powers.


Commander-In-Chief: The Prime Minister is the seniormost head of all branches of the military and may give military orders. He or she may also request that Parliament declare war. The Prime Minister is also in charge of appoint senior military officers.


State of emergency: In the event of a national crisis, the Prime Minister may call a state of emergency in which he or she can make limited law-binding proclamations. In order for such a state to be declared, the President must also agree. The President also has the ability to end the state of emergency at any time.
